David Robertson

My interest in photography developed over a number of years with an increasing appreciation of the diversity and splendour of the Scottish landscape and Scotland's historical and architectural heritage. A combination of stunning subject matter and wonderful light make Scotland a photographer's paradise.

Now, as a working professional of over 15 years, I supply stock images to both editorial and commercial markets either through my agents or direct via Scot-image.

Over the years my work has been published in many types of media, including jigsaw puzzles, Christmas cards, calendars, postcards, on magazine covers, corporate brochures, guidebooks, on book covers, educational text books, tourist leaflets and brochures, panel displays, national newspapers and many more. With my wife and soul-mate, Sarah, I am a co-author of a walker's guidebook, Landscapes of Slovenia, published by Sunflower Books.

Aside from photography my main passions in life are hill-walking (we both comple(a)ted our first round of Munros in 2010) and cycling.
